| 8/3/07 | HVLP staff coordinated a legal advice clinic at Thomas Street Clinic patients. This legal advice clinic was part of the HIV program’s ongoing outreach efforts in collaboration with Houston area AIDS service organizations. 8 volunteer attorneys provided legal advice and counsel to 16 clients. 6 clients were referred to Houston Volunteer lawyers for referral. |

| 7/21/07 | HVLP Coordinated Phase I of the initial HBA Habitat Will Initiative at the Bayland Community Center. During the morning-long event, HVLP staff helped ninety-three new Habitat for Humanity homeowners complete HVLP estate planning questionnaires. Based on these questionnaires, the homeowners were matched with volunteer attorneys who will draft their clients’ estate planning documents and meet with them on August 18th to execute the documents. |
